They both have to accept responsibility for screwing their children up royally. Every child they have has emotional issues from their actions. However, Ridge allowed Stephanie control of his life and went back and forth between Taylor and Brooke numerous times and I feel that Brooke would have remained loyal to Ridge if he hadn’t flip flop between the women. Even RJ wanted to return to boarding school.

Eric…for getting Brooke pregnant with Rick. That would have been the best place to nip it in the bud.

Yep, they’re all hypocrites but when Brooke says that less than 5 minutes from being out of a relationship with her sister’s husband, then it kind of makes it a moot point. She’s the wrong messenger for that one.

Not only was she in a relationship with her sister’s husband, she also got pregnant by him and then enlist Eric in her attempt to hide it by trying to get Eric to marry her. The mattress has no right to any moral high ground

Since Brooke is the mother, her kids should have come first, when she was going through all her “dating”. She didn’t put them first, only if it suited her blackmail of getting Ridge. Rick needed therapy year’s ago. As an adult, I believe Rick should take responsibility for his own behavior. But, as a kid…he needed help, and all he had was parents that enabled his bad behavior.

Yes, I was listening. She’s still not in any position to use that to make any kind of point about what another person is doing. For Brooke, this isn’t really about Ridge seducing his brother’s wife. If it were, she wouldn’t want her son to go back to someone who betrayed him that way. It’s about Ridge being with any woman that isn’t her, especially while she’s without a man. Brooke can’t allow that!

For once in her life, no. It is NOT about Ridge. The things she said to Ridge showed that she considers him to be out of her life. It’s about Rick. She wants him to let go of his anger, because his anger and resentment are hurting HIM. She wants him to forgive Caroline because she can see he loves her very much. The ONLY one who doesn’t see that is Rick. Even Maya sees it.

Furthermore, Brooke is in as good a position as anyone else on that show to offer an opinion on matters of behavior.

Still I think Ridge is far more worse than Brooke because it was really Bill pursuing Brooke and Ridge pursued Caroline. Brooke and Caroline gave into their feelings.

Brooke with her daughter’s husband, got pregnant

Brooke with her other daughter’s fiance (?) - Nick

Brooke with her younger daughter’s boyfriend

Brooke with her sister’s husband, got pregnant

Yeah, she can talk… out of her rear end.

IMO, what Brooke did is still WORSE, NOT the exact same thing. Ridge hasn’t even boinked Caroline yet or gotten her pregnant. Ridge didn’t have that brotherly-bond with Rick that Brooke had with Katie, which makes Brooke’s the worse betrayal.

Not to mention Rick has used both of Ridge’s daughters, the consequence of which a daughter died. If Ridge wanted a little revenge, I don’t really blame him. Can’t believe I’m sticking up for Ridge *)

The root cause to this is Ridge & Brook. They both are guilty of crossing boundaries . Ridge has done this so many times,he does not see anything wrong.He boinked Thornes wife, he boinked Erics wife, he tried to hit on Bridgette,his step daughter, and he boinked Katie.Brook was doing her thing too ,she was wrong,that is why she left to give katie and bill a chance. All of the off springs are just like their parents. Ridge was just using Caroline to get his designs out, and it was wrong, his donkey is to old for that. Brook is just trying to give Rick and Caroline a chance she sees that he is hurting and in love with caroline. Brook was trying to do something today she should have done a long time ago take the high road.
