How to Pick Nature and Gender of Your Starting Pokemon in Lets’ Go?
To pick your starting Pokemon Gender and Nature in Pokemon Let’s Go, you’ll basically have to restart the game. Let me explain. When you start the game, you’ll get a starter Pokemon of a certain Gender and Nature. There are 25 different natures available, but we’ll get into that later. Pokemon Let’s Go Starter Pokemon Gender Differences
As far as we can tell, there is no practical difference between starter Pokemon genders in Pokemon Let’s Go. The only discernible differences we can spot are the looks. And, even then, the most noticeable distinction is in the look of the tails. What I mean is, the tails of a boy Pikachu / Eevee and a girl Pikachu / Eevee look different, and that’s all there is to it. In other words, other than the looks, there’s no reason to worry about your starter Pokemon gender in Pokemon Let’s Go.
Best Nature for Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee Starter
The best Natures for your starting Pikachu in Pokemon Let’s Go are either Hasty or Naive. Both will increase your Speed, which is really useful for Pikachu. Hasty will lower your regular Defense, and Naive will lower your Sp. Def, or Special Defense. Pick whichever you like.
The best Natures for your starting Eevee in Pokemon Let’s Go are Jolly, Adamant, or any Nature that basically has no effect: Serious, Hardy, Docile, or Quirky. The four no-effect natures are good because Eevee is a nice and balanced Pokemon overall (and, indeed, my favorite). Jolly gives you extra speed, at the cost of Sp. Atk. (Special Attack) which isn’t much to speak of anyway. Adamant also costs you your Sp. Atk., but boosts your regular attacks, which is a good trade-of in Eeevee’s case.
