BIOGRAPHY
Of Franco-Norwegian origin, Sara Mortensen grew up in a family of artists with a mother who was an actress and director and a father who was a visual artist. Passionate about comedy since childhood, she still chose security and graduated in letters and human sciences, before enrolling at the Cours Florent. From 2001 to 2004, she followed several courses in French and English.
During this period, Sara made her debut as an actress in a few short films and went behind the camera in 2003 to direct one of them entitled Facteur Chance . At the same time, she participated in several plays by her teacher Lesley Chatterley . From 2007, the young woman landed a few small roles in the cinema, notably in the comedy 15 years and a half , with Daniel Auteuil , and the drama, A man and his dog , alongside Jean-Paul Belmondo . She also made numerous television appearances in popular French programs such as Engrenages , Femmes de Loi , Joséphine, ange garde or even Clem where she found Lucie Lucas , her partner on screen in 15 and a Half Years. However, it was the character of Coralie Blain in the France 3 program, Plus belle la vie , which really made her known to the general public. For seven years, she played a very strict mathematics teacher nicknamed “Terminator”. Despite this recurring role, Sara continued her career in cinema and in other series. In 2016, more particularly, she was in the casting of the film He already has your eyes and season 2 of Chefs with Clovis Cornillac .
This growing popularity and her ever-increasing opportunities forced her to leave Plus belle la vie in 2019, so that she could concentrate on other projects. The same year, Sara then took over the role of Kristina in the eponymous spin-off series of He Already Has Your Eyes .
In 2020, after Contact and Les Mystères de la basilique , Sara once again plays a policewoman in the France 2 series, Astrid et Raphaëlle . The heroine Astrid Nielsen, an autistic woman and archivist for the judicial police, is her first major role on screen. She shares the bill with Lola Dewaere .
