JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — Johnstown police are searching for two men after a taxi driver said he was robbed at gunpoint.
According to police, the robbery happened on Corrine Avenue just before 1 a.m. Monday after two men called for a cab.
According to a police report, the driver said when he arrived at the destination, one of the men got into the front seat and pulled a gun on him.
Police say the robbers demanded the driver's money and keys. The robbers got away with $210 and the keys to the cab, according to the report.
Authorities say the robbers fled on foot toward Oakhurst Homes.
Police say both robbers are black men, one described at 5'7", weighing 230 pounds, and the other to be a taller, skinnier man.
