Leaders at Solid Rock Church filed a police report last week with concerns about an influx of "harassing" messages in the wake of one of its pastor's wife's death.

A pastor at Solid Rock Church filed the complaint with Myrtle Beach Police Dept. on May 1 regarding a slew of social media posts and messages directed at the church following 30-year-old Mica Miller's passing.

Mica's estranged husband, John-Paul Miller, is a pastor at Solid Rock. Mica was also an active member of multiple ministries within the church.

On May 1, four days after Mica died by suicide in Robeson County, the complainant, who is listed in the police report as one of the pastors at Solid Rock, told police she and the church received multiple Facebook messages and emails in the days following Mica's death. The responding officer was shown multiple posts and messages that were sent to the complainant and the church. The report said there were no direct threats of violence in the messages.

Police said the posts are vague about "canceling" and ending the church for "its lies." The report added that certain Facebook groups and TikToks have been shared about the church in hopes to "end them." No direct person is being harassed.

Pastor John-Paul was reportedly not on the scene to meet with officers.

All of the information gathered was passed on to direct supervisors and police concluded there was no harassment at that time, the report concluded.

At some point last weekend, the church's website was also suspended. The website link now redirects to a webpage reading "This account has been suspended."

The overseer of Solid Rock Church also sent a notice to its members on Sunday that Pastor John-Paul was released from all ministerial functions. The notice stated that he was released "for a time of healing, counsel, and guidance, pursuant to our governing instrument."

ABC15 tried to contact Solid Rock Church for comment, however, there was no answer and their mailbox is full.
