WASHINGTON (7News) — Five teens were arrested for stealing several items from a CVS store in Navy Yard earlier in April, announced the Metropolitan Police Department.
A group of teen girls and boys went into a CVS store in the 1100 block of New Jersey Avenue in Southeast, D.C. on April 16, police said. The group stormed the store, took some items and left.

When a security guard confronted them, police said, one of the teens threw a bottle. But, the guard was not hit.
After the incident, on April 20, police arrested one of the teens, a 16-year-old boy, and charged him with Burglary, Theft and Assault on a Police Officer.

Over the weekend, on April 27, police announced the arrest of four more teens. They all face several charges.
