SHE may not have won the man... but Welsh lass Marie certainly won over viewers after a hilarious appearance on Channel 4 show First Dates.
The quirky school teacher left viewers cheering her on as she looked for love on the television show - and was quickly won over by her charm and hysterical one-liners when talking to the camera.
Introducing herself and her luck with men, she said: "I have a cup at home that says it all, 'Not all men are bad - some are dead!'"
Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "This blonde woman on #FirstDates is the funniest woman in the history of people. What a legend."
Unfortunately for her, Marie was paired up with vegan Davin - who was left less than impressed with her attempts at humour when she asked if he would be offended if she ordered a pig's head to the table.
He had previously told the cameras: "Laughing with a partner can really make you fall for them in a special way."
Later on, Marie snuck off to the ladies for a quick chat with a friend on the phone about how the date was going - only to cut them off because "she didn't want to be in there too long in case he thought she was doing a poo".

While Marie's jokes might not have landed with her dates, she quickly grew a slew of fans at home - with many comparing her to comedy greats.
One said: "Marie - Victoria Wood meets Rob Brydon? Character and charm. How is she still single??"
The couple then tried and failed to make the date work - with both of them having different relationship backgrounds and were split on their opinion to want kids.
Davin ended the date by declining to meet up again - leaving fans feeling for Marie as she got weepy on screen.
She told the camera: "There's only so many times a girl can hear that. It's hard."
One fan wrote: "Aw bless, Marie is just lovely. I hope she finds someone to go to the beach & have fish & chips with."
