Evgenia Citkowitz was born in 1964 in New York City. She is the youngest of two daughters of Israel Citkowitz – an American pianist, composer, and piano teacher – and Lady Caroline Blackwood, an English writer.
When she was young, her parents split up and her mum in London, England raised her. She has two big stepsisters, Ivana Lowell, and Natalya Morley Sands, from her mother’s earlier unions.
