The Young and the Restless’ Camryn Grimes (Mariah) and her fiancé Brock Powell are currently enjoying being first-time parents to their baby boy Bridger Elias, who was born on Wednesday, December 13. Prior to his birth, the CBS soap actress posted a pic of her bare baby bump on social media and stated, “See you soon little man. Love, Mama.” And following Bridger’s entrance into the world, she shared yet another one and stated, “Yes, I’ll still be sharing photos from this shoot. No, I don’t really care how revealing they are. Yes, I already miss my belly.”

Though the photos were beautifully done, and highlighted Grimes’ pregnant belly, apparently they were too “revealing” for some because the star then took to X, formerly Twitter, and voiced her upset over some of the reactions to the pics.

“I am flabbergasted at anyone that can comment anything on a picture of a pregnant woman other than sparkling thoughts of love and beauty and adoration,” she stated. “Mind blown.”

Her fans quickly came to Grimes’ defense, like Terri Ann Palumbo, who urged, “Never mind them. What you posted was beautiful and joyful and loving and respectful and grateful for the experience of having your son. The negatives are about them and the dark side of social media, not you. Keep celebrating!”

Unfortunately, there will always be naysayers and we have to agree, social media can be a cruel place… All that matters is, the photos were tasteful done and beautiful and clearly expressed the love she already felt for her unborn child.
