Blue Bell has announced the release of a highly requested flavor ice cream: Mardi Gras King Cake.

Last year, this flavor was only available in select areas. However, this year Blue Bell is releasing it to all of its territories.

“Last year a grocery store in Louisiana posted about the flavor’s arrival on its Facebook page and we started receiving requests from all over the country. After that, we decided to share this festive flavor with everyone in our distribution area,” said Carl Breed, corporate sales manager for Blue Bell.

Mardi Gras King Cake is a cinnamon cake flavored ice cream with tasty pastry pieces, a colorful green cream cheese swirl and festive candy sprinkles, Blue Bell says.

The company added it will be available for a limited time in a half gallon.
